Silicone and sealant work in a villa covers kitchen worktops, bathroom junctions, window frames, external joints, and anywhere two different materials meet. Each junction has its own movement characteristic and exposure level, and the right sealant type for one application is not necessarily right for another. We assess each joint before selecting and applying the correct product for the location.
Old sealant is fully removed before anything new goes on. Applying fresh silicone over a failing joint without stripping what is underneath produces a result that looks acceptable for a short time before the same failure reappears through the new layer. Every joint is prepared properly so the finish bonds correctly and holds up through the movement and moisture it will be exposed to.
