We assess the existing unit before recommending anything. Anode condition, pressure valve operation, thermostat accuracy, and the integrity of the connections are all checked before a decision is made about whether servicing or replacement is the right course of action for the unit.
Replacement is only recommended when the assessment confirms the condition no longer justifies the cost of repair. A unit that can be serviced back to reliable performance does not need to be replaced, and that is the honest position we take on every water heater visit we carry out.
